League age is the child's age on April 30, 2023, and determines which division he or she will be placed in. See the Parent's FAQ for details.
Effective for the upcoming Spring 2023 Season: The PONY Baseball International Board of Directors has changed the age determination date for baseball to April 30 effective for the 2023 baseball season.
What does this mean for you: if you have a player that is moving up a division (i.e. from Shetland 6U to Pinto or Pinto to Mustang) and has a birthday in May, June, July, or August, they will have the choice to stay in their respective age groups or move up into an older age group with their former teammates.
Looking to have your child participate in a sport that requires skill, strength, strategic thinking, and play as part of a team? Whatever level of play, baseball can enhance your child's life, improving fitness, strength and coordination.
We are always looking for new CYB players, coaches, and volunteers to join this wonderful community!
